Earlier this year I lost my Grandmother and Aunty to cancer, 2 weeks within each other, and it hurt.

When I first heard that they both had cancer I started a little quest to do some events while raising money for MacMillan as a way of giving back.
Once I actually really dived in to what MacMillan did and how they helped people go through the tough times, well, I was happy that my Grandmother and Aunty were looked after amazing people.
My quest has now expanded and I am doing so many more events because I have a motto when doing my events:
"While I may be struggling to finish this last Kilometre or to climb this last obstacle and I want to just give up, I know, deep down that this is nothing compared to the hardship that people with cancer are going through and after traversing many, many miles and raising money, if it helps just one person get the support they need, well, it was all worth it"
This has gotten me through so many events, I started this at 20 Stone and I have done 12 events already including Tough mudders and I am running my first Half Marathon next month!!
