Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in this amazing yet scary challenge to raise money for a charity that is very close to my heart. 

I was very close to my nana and unfortunately she lost her sight aged 40 from Glaucoma. She was an incredible woman and someone I really looked up to. 

I am taking part in this challenge with a lady who I’ve recently grown very close to, Enid Adams. She is a regular customer in my cafe and always brings  happiness when she comes in with her guide dog Polly!


About the charity

Sight Support is a registered charity which aims to improve and enrich the quality of life for people with sight loss in Hull and East Yorkshire. It receives no government funding and relies on donations to continue its work. 86p from every £1 donated is spent on the charity's support services.
