My story is a simple one. Like many others I have always wanted to take part in the various fund raising events which happen each year like running and cycling ... I need to lose some weight first. I am 'always on a diet' it seems but never really get past a few lbs. This time I am doing it for others (and myself) but it is the fundraising and raising awareness that will spur me on. 

Lymphoedema is the swelling of the limbs, principally caused by certain cancers and their treatment.

When someone is suffering from cancer, this cruel condition can significantly reduce the quality of life in the patient's final stages.
