I am running the Virgin London Marathon this April alongside my son Sam.

I started running in an attempt to keep fit and healthy after several operations. I was definitely not born or built to run but to my suprise I found that I actually enjoyed it !!

However 26 miles is a very long way so Sam and I decided to rise to the challenge and raise money for the RNIB a charity that has been very important to our family.

My father-in-law began to lose his eyesight slowly and then despite operatons in India and the Uk to restore his vision he eventually lost his eyesight completely. The RNIB provide support to the blind and partially sighted across the Uk and any donation that you can make big or small will be fantastic.

Please help us rise to the challenge of the 26 miles !
