Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
It was so good last year to raise money for CALM in the Great Grimsby 10k with my colleague Karl Gilchrist.  Working as teachers at St Martin's Prep School we are keen to encourage our pupils to support local community projects and as running has become something I really enjoy now I would like our local community to benefit from my personal challenge to myself : to run 12 races in 12 months in 2019.

St Andrews Hospice is well known in Grimsby as a safe place to stay that provides free care for anyone over the age of 18 with a wide range of progressive life-limiting conditions, including cancer, Motor neurone disease, cardio-vascular diseases, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease.

Races planned so far:

January - Hadleigh 10k (Essex) off road race

February -

March - Sadly I am unabl e to race at the moment as I have a bad calf strain but am hoping to start again end of April and complete the 12 races.

I’m back running!! Starting with Couch to 5K to allow my calf to strengthen

April - Run for Wildlife 5k (Doncaster)

May - Race for Life 10k (Cleethorpes)

June - Hull 10k
Grimsthorpe Castle 10k Bourne

July - Caistor Sting in the Tail 10k
Great Grimsby 10k

August -

September -
Humber 5k (Cleethorpes)

October - the Gruesome Twosome 10k with Mr Karl Gilchrist (Swallow, Lincolnshire) (my work colleague)
Brigg Poppy 10k also with Mr Gilchrist

November - Billericay 10k in Essex

December - Sprout 10k (Doncaster)
