The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.

Story

On the 10th of September, 2011, a team of vets and veterinary nurses from Donaldson and Partners, Thongsbridge Surgery, will be taking part in the gruelling Coniston Challenge

This involves a 17km mountain bike through the Grizedale Forest, a 10km hike up to the summit of The Old Man of Coniston and a 3km kayak from the shores of Coniston water.

This is to raise funds for the fantastic charity that is Guide Dogs for the Blind. We have the pleasure of meeting and treating these amazing creatures through our work and so we are taking this opportunity to thank them for all the hard work they do.

As you can imagine this challenge will be putting us all to the test.  Believe us when we say we are all training very hard, but we need your support. So, if you have it in your heart to donate, as little or as much as you can spare would be gratefully received.  After all it is for an incredibly worthwhile cause.

Thank you from all at Donaldson and Partners and of course our four legged friends, woof woof!!

Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
