We provide expert care and support to young people with cancer

Story

Having had his leg amputated as part of his treatment for Leukaemia, Adam Horn joined me, his dad, in doing the 2007 Dumball Rally to Istanbul, in those days we bought a car for £400 and decorated it in fine fashion then drove it though 9 countries before arriving in style in Istanbul.

Have a look at Adams Video to see more of his experience on the trip

The following year Adam sadly lost his battle with Cancer and to honour his memory Colin took on the 2008 Dumball and has done so each year since. last year's Dumball was different as it involved driving round the South of India to Goa  and early in 2017 the Dumball rolls again with Dumball 2017 - Here we Goa again!

Our mission, is to fly out to Delhi, meet a fleet of old, mechanically unreliable Indian Jeeps and in just 3 hours, decorate them to the nines, before setting off through the desert and facing the perils that are driving in India for 8 days before arriving (hopefully) in Goa, we will be in fancy dress as well as the cars

We cover all the costs of undertaking the trip and any donations go in full directly to Teenage Cancer Trust, the charity that helped Adam so often during his battle with Leukaemia, this year there will be 2 Ragin' Horn Teams, (Adam came up with the name in case you are asking!)

Colin, Becca and Lotte will be decorating the Jeep in the style of Phileas Fogg-Horn! and Around the world in 80 days theme, well around India in 8 days more like!

Anita, Steve and Sam will be decorating their car in the style of Chelsea Footy club.. Ragin' Horn Too- Blue!

If you've read this far, we hope that you have some flavour of the challenge we are facing, India's roads are notoriously dangerous and avoiding the livestock, potholes, cattle and scooters is only part of the game!

7 Teenagers a day are diagnosed with cancer in the UK, help us help Teenage Cancer Trust provide specialist facilities and services to make the journey of those affected more bearable
