Ascension Eagles has fifty kilograms of brand new, but dated, promotional clothing which we unfortunately are no longer able to
use. As trustees our first thought was to sell these clothes for a nominal amount and using the proceeds to extend our charity cheer program to those from less fortunate backgrounds in Newham.

But we wanted to do something really special this Christmas and send the clothes to a truly disadvantaged community so that we could bring smiles to children’s faces at this special time of year.

And that’s why I have set up this Just Giving page to ask you for your help in making this happen. Your kind donation will not only help us realise the funds for our charity outreach program but also to donate these clothes to Khayelitsha, one of South Africa’s poorest communities.

The beneficiary will be the New Stars Khayelitsha Football Club, a non-profit organisation challenging the substance abuse prevalent in the community.
