Story
The 15th May will be the second anniversary of Ruby's death, and I want to remember her by doing something positive to help improve cancer outcomes for young people diagnosed with this awful disease in the future. That's why, on 14th May, I'll be abseiling off the ArcelorMittal Orbit to raise money for Ruby's Live Kindly, Live Loudly Fund with CCLG.
I have wonderful memories of visiting the Olympic Park with Ruby when we went to various events at the London 2012 Olympics ❤️
Money raised will fund research into T-cell lymphoma and leukaemia, the kind of blood cancer that killed Ruby. Now, around 80% of young people will survive - and that's all down to research - but it still kills around 150 children and young people each year in the UK. That's why more research is needed, to find cures for all young people with this disease.
