Story
I am taking part in Epilepsy Society's 60 Miles in September challenge to raise awareness for the 60,000 children diagnosed with epilepsy in the UK.
I was diagnosed with epilepsy when I was 18 and have dealt with the issues it comes with. The way the seizures impact my life, the impact they have on my mental health, and the side effects that come with controlling my seizures. It has always been a struggle but one that has felt better since meeting the people at Epilepsy Society.
Epilepsy Society shared a video of myself having a seizure at work and it has helped raise so much awareness on carrying out first aid when someone has a seizure. If you fancy viewing it, click the link below - but be aware it is a video of a seizure taking place so be careful if triggered!

Any donation that you are able to make will help them to continue their incredible work and will spur me on throughout my challenge! Below you can see how your donation could help.
£20 could help to ensure that someone who desperately needs to talk about their epilepsy can call our helpline.
£50 could help forward our world-leading research projects, leading to more accurate, personalised treatment.
£100 could help our research team to analyse genomics data, which will lead to better seizure control.
Thank you so much for your support!
