I try and do an endurance event most years, but this time I feel I've bitten off more than I can chew; my first Ironman distance triathlon (in fact I've only ever done a sprint distance before)! knowing that I'm raising money for a good cause is going to help with the motivation needed to get through the distance and time involved (2.4mile swim, 112mile bike, and a marathon to finish all within a cut off time of 17hours).

Forever hounds are the charity I rehomed my dog Luna from, and as she gets older I reflect on all the adventures we've shared and had it not been for the charity she would not have had a second chance, so please either donate or just adopt a dog yourself :) I'm self-funding all of this so my donation target is to hopefully match how much I've spent entering this and buying all the kit. My employer, Waldeck, have kindly offered £100 donation towards this event which is a great start.
