Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am very proud to have been selected to take part in the Wobbleberries Challenge. This challenges nervous riders to get out of their comfort zone and train towards competing at a British Eventing (BE80) event in the Autumn of 2017. This will involve riding a BE dressage test, a course of 80 cm show jumps, and a course of 80 cm cross country jumps in one day.

I am doing it to raise money for the amazing charity: Willberry Wonder Pony, which was set up by Hannah Francis. Hannah was a dedicated young event rider who dreamed to ride for Great Britain. However her life was tragically cut short at just age 18 and she died on 1st August, 15 months after being diagnosed with bone cancer. She was an amazing and inspiring young person to all who knew her in her tragically short life and she has and now continues to help and inspire thousands of people. I really want to do this to help raise money to help others with bone cancer and try to do her memory proud.

Please if you would give whatever you can spare to support Willberry Wonder Pony and help in #kickingcancersbutt. And if you like, please follow Flynn and I on our journey to try to achieve something on a whole new level as I try to move out of our comfort zone. I honestly need all the support I can get.

About the charity

The Charity was established by talented horse rider, Hannah Francis, following her diagnosis with the aggressive form of bone cancer, osteosarcoma. People all over the world followed Hannah's story which she told through her mascot, Willberry. Tragically Hannah passed away at just 18 years old.
