Story
We are funraising for Children's Anorectal Physiology Service (CAPS).
CAPS opened in 2016 and has seen about 200 children with bowel symptoms of chronic constipation and soiling. This has both a physical and psychological impact on children and their families. It is an embarrassing, distressing and difficult condition to live with.
CAPS has been running the service with a hard working and passionate team; with the support of charities (Health Foundation, PORT, Childwick Trust, Barts Charity) and fundraising events. We are having fundraising day for CAPS which will focus on promoting good eating habits - which is vital for a healthly gut.
On the day, everyone is invited to come and join us at the Healing Space (Level 7) where you will get to meet some inspiration people from Made in Hackey (http://madeinhackney.org); Dr Kitchen (http://thedoctorskitchen.com) and more. There will be an opportunity to take some photos and win a fantastic hamper. Raffles can be bought via the link: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/eleni-athanasakos1
Please donate to CAPS - every penny counts and if you can't be there on the day, we would appreciate your support via a donation or buying some raffle tickets - see pics above for what you get if you win. There are some amazing prizes.
All money will go towards developing CAPS further and this we are very grateful for.
Due to gambling licence rules, raffles tickets for these hampers are only open to Barts Health Trust Staff who work at the Royal London Hospital.
Please email CAPS@bartshealth.nhs.uk once you have donated for the hampers, so we can tell you, you have won!
Thank you
CAPS team
