I've had asthma all my life. Although it has never impacted me, I've always struggled to keep it under control. After leaving full time education and not really exercising since, my asthma has only got worse. Sometimes I can walk down the road and I'm struggling for breath. Recently, it has been at its worst ever levels where some days I'm need my reliever several times a day. 

So last year when I went to support my fiancé's family at the Great North Run, I made myself (and them) a commitment to come back and do it next year. Crazy, right?

I thought it would be fitting if I raised money for Asthma UK, given that it's asthma which has always prevented me from running. 

Anything you donate will be much appreciated and hopefully I won't let anyone down. I am determined to set a good time, but only time will tell.
