This time last year, Emilia was recovering from minor surgery at St. George's after consultants recommended that she have a mole removed. It was good news for us, as the mole was benign, but it made us more understanding of the position of families for whom the news is not so positive. Emilia has been growing her hair for the last year in order to donate it to the Little Princess Trust. They are a charity who give real hair wigs free of charge to children who have lost their hair through cancer treatment. Once they've received the hair it costs the charity £350-500 to make the wig, so along with the hair we'd really like to be able to donate some money. If you could spare a couple of pounds to help us out in our donation, you'd make Emilia's day. We'll post pictures of the haircut once it's done, we're just waiting for another couple of inches of growth!
