This year I have decided to take on the 3 peaks of the Yorkshire Dales: the route is 24 miles (38.6km), and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent, all completed in 12 hours.  This is quite a challenge for a West London girl as there aren’t many mountains around and I’m more used to walking around the parks and playgrounds of Ealing!  And I have decided to take on this feat in order to raise money for a charity that is very close to my heart:

Max goes to the Log Cabin twice a week to their after school club and several times each school holiday to their play scheme.  It provides us with really valuable respite time plus he is so happy there that everyone benefits.  The staff are fantastic and really care about the children in their care.  I could go on all day about the many activities, experiences and trips that Max has benefitted from, it really is a special place for him.
