Story
Hello, and thank you for visiting my page :)
On the 9th of August 2014 I will be doing a skydive at 10,000ft to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
My dad, Mark Steele, was diagnosed with this horrific disease, which slowly strips sufferers of their ability to move and of their independence whilst retaining feeling, in the early part of 2010 and lived through the disease and the loss of his wife, my mum Celesta Steele for a year before it took him away from us in April 2011.
He was always an inspiration to everyone he met and touched so many lives; he is my absolute hero and one of the most courageous men I have ever had the privilege to know. His bravery and longing to help others has inspired me to do something that scares me in order to make other people's lives better. I have paid the cost of the jump myself and therefore all donations received will go directly to the charity itself.
I hope that this inspires you to donate, or to do fundraising of your own; as much or as little as you can, every single penny makes such a huge difference.
Thank you for taking the time to read this
