My lovely Gran has been affected by Dementia and Alzheimer’s and it is so upsetting to watch someone forget who they are. They spend a lot of time confused about who they are and where they are. 

I think it’s very important to strive towards a cure to help future sufferers and families to make it not as heartbreaking as it is now.
