Hello!

In July I’m volunteering with Restless Development on a development programme in Nepal! This is part of the International Citizen Service (ICS), which brings young people together to fight poverty and make a difference where it is needed most.

The girl who hasn't ventured outside of Europe is travelling 4,560 miles with a group of complete strangers to try and improve the lives of others. And I really need your help and support!

ICS works with communities that have specifically requested their help. I’ll be working alongside volunteers from Nepal, on youth-led projects in three core areas: civic participation, livelihoods & employment, and sexual & reproductive health. It also aims to inspire young people in the UK and overseas to become active citizens who are passionate about long term community development.

My fundraising target is £800. None of the money raised will go directly to my place on the programme but instead to Restless Development to allow them to continue to bring about positive change in the developing communities where they work.
