We wanted to tell you the reason we have decided to take part in the Great Bristol 10k (other than our love of running haha)
On Tuesday 24th July 2018 our world was turned upside down when Nick suffered a cardiac arrest while driving himself and Hayley home.
Hayley’s quick and brave actions meant no one else was injured.
Fortunately members of the public gave CPR to Nick before the Air Ambulance crew arrived and took over. Without the quick response from all those amazing guys we almost certainly would have faced a different outcome!
Nick made a full recovery and is taking part in the run to help raise money for the fantastic team at The Great Western Air Ambulance. Pretty amazing stuff less than a year after that awful accident!
We are asking for donations however small so we can give a little something back.
Many of the highly skilled team are volunteers who give up their precious time to help save the lives of people in their local community.
It’s your donations that allow them to fund the clinical team and keep the ambulance in the air, so the team can keep saving lives. They receive no day to day government funding and rely on your support.
So please we ask if you can donate we would be most grateful!
