Story
Thanks for visiting our Equity team fundraising page for the Mont Ventoux Challenge.
Joe Booth, Simon Richardson, Steve Wheddon and Chris Beaumont from Equity have joined together to raise money for three charities by participating in the Mont Ventoux Challenge. In a nutshell, we will in 4 days be cycling 620 miles across France from Normandy down to the Southern Alps, culminating in a 21km climb to the world renowned summit of Mont Ventoux standing at over 1900m!
All money raised will go directly to the charities below as all the participation costs have been covered by the supreme athletes themselves.
Snow-Camp are a fantastic cause whose mission changes the lives of inner-city young people through snow-sports to provide life-skills, nationally recognised qualifications and work experience enabling them to gain employment in the snowsports industry and beyond.
The British Heart Foundation have a vision of a world free from the fear of heart and circulatory disease. They fund research to keep hearts beating and blood flowing. As the biggest funder of heart and circulatory research in the UK they fund £100 million worth of project per year.
Lastly a third great cause in Cancer Research UK, the largest independent funder of cancer research in the world. They support the best scientists, doctors and nurses to discover new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer across the world.
