To celebrate 50(+2) years of England winning the World Cup, Fawcett Mead are heading to Lesotho to raise money for the incredible Kick4Life Charity.

The charity uses the power of Football to engage young people and  to inspire them to transform their lives. The Fawcett Mead party comprising Graham Fawcett, Nick Carvey, Joe Baio and Vincent Morris will be part of a larger group heading to Africa in November 2018 headed by charity founder Steve Fleming.

During the trip we will be trained to deliver health education to orphans and vulnerable young children helping from a position of extreme disadvantage to one where they have opportunities for the future. Lesotho is a small country in southern Africa with the worlds second highest prevalence of HIV. This epidemic has devastated families and communities leaving more than 160,000 children orphaned.

Kick4Life are Fawcett Mead's charity for 2018. This is very different experience to a typical charity challenge as we will be directly working with disadvantaged youth, providing them with information and knowledge that will help them achieve a healthier and more prosperous future.

Below is how your valued support can make a major difference:

• £250 enables a life-skills and health education session for a whole team of young people.
  

• £100 provides intensive and holistic support for an orphan or vulnerable child for three months. 

• £50 provides an orphan and young person with health education and life-skills training as well as literacy support and counselling. 

• £25 provides a HIV test for two children, with those testing positive referred to ongoing medical treatment and support.
