Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

My name is Carole Scrafton, Co-Founder of FibroFlutters, which is a support group based in Sunderland, NE UK, for people with Fibromyalgia and many related conditions.  We are also an online support and advisory group group/community across the Globe via varying social media platforms.

We work to raise awareness of varying #chronicillnesses and to share the stories, reasearch and helpful websites, including Fibromyalgia Action UK (FMAUK) to those that need it, they are a small self-funding, non-profit charity based in Paisley Scotland that offers support and advice across the UK.

FMAUK are one of our Mother Hosts and we wouldn't exist without their unending supportEvery year we try to show how much we appreciate the work that they do and this year FibroFlutters are appealing for donations to help them put together the Awareness packs that they send out to Support Groups and also to Doctors to help educate them about Fibromyalgia.  By doing this they are helping to #fightfibro and raise much needed awareness about what Fibromyalgia is and also how it affects the people who suffer it.

We are all Warriors of constant #chronicpain / #chronicfatigue / #brainfogginess plus many more problematic symptoms and health conditions, and scientists don't yet know know what causes it, yet alone how to treat it.  FMAUK supports research and your donations could also help with that no matter how small it all counts.

Every year my alter-ego, Fluffmeister produces a campaign poster for #May12th via Fluffmeister Campaign Arts, which is the profile picture for this fundraising page.  The poster is not sold and is also made as a hobby so I received no funds for producing it.  It's free of charge if you'd like to use it, but any donations will go to FMAUK.

We thankyou in advance for any donations and for taking the time to read.

Together we can #FightFibro

Wishing you all wellness and less pain

Carole Scrafton
