School-Home Support are a charity dedicated to working with schools, local authorities and other bodies to provide tailored support to children and families. The charity aims to tackle the issues and barriers negatively impacting children's education to improve the life chances and opportunities of those they work with.

The basis of this challenge is to live off the daily budget a typical family supported by School-Home Support. That budget is £6.17, this figure is based on the allowances paid to a single parent of two children. For the purposes of this challenge that budget will include travel costs to and from work and food costs.

Our challenge will be significantly easier than real life as this budget does not include the cost of utilities and clothing. Please support us so that we are able to raise awareness of School-Home Support and the families they help, as well fundraising for the charity.
