Freya was born with congenital heart disease, a condition called 'Tetralogy of Fallots' She needed to have open heart surgery at 7 months old to mend her heart. She had her surgery at the Evelina children's hospital in London. It has been a little over 10 years since Freya was admitted to the Evelina and she has decided she would like to raise some money for ECHO, the charity that has supported all of us from the day she was diagnosed onwards.
