Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page! On 23rd July 2017 me and my daughter Ella, aged 9 are going to be running a 5k Colour rush in memory of Oliver, our brave son and brother. This will be Ella's first ever run, but something she's keen to do to remember Oliver and help raise money for an amazing charity.

We are running in support of Ronald McDonald House Birmingham which is an amazing facility and allowed us to stay together as a family, close to Oliver, during his time at Birmingham Childrens' Hospital. In 2015 we sponsored a room in Oliver's memory and we are keen to continue to sponsor a bedroom and support the House in the fabulous work they do.

Ronald McDonald House is an amazing cause and allows families to stay close by to their sick child in hospital while maintaining some normal family life. For us that meant being able to have Ella with us, cook a meal as a family and when he was well enough, bring Oliver back to the House for some much needed family time away from the ward.
