Story

Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Two years ago, the Dunblane Boys' Brigade successfully launched Project Malawi in partnership with Classrooms for Malawi (a Scottish charity), with the aim of greatly improving the quality of education for children who live in the community of Likhubula.  This year we are working towards returning to Malawi (team of 17 senior boys) to repair and renovate more primary school classrooms for the poorest but most deserving of children. As a group, each boy is tasked with raising £1000 towards the total cost, which includes building materials and related equipment.

To help support my fundraising, I  plan to complete the Arran Coastal Walk over the course of the school October holiday. The walk lies just shy of 65 miles and covers the perimeter of the island. I aim to complete the challenge by walking a section every day and returning to the cottage each evening to refuel, rest and try to dry off my boots!  I hope to have completed the walk within a few days, however, this may change if the weather proves to be a challenge.

If you feel you can sponsor me then any donation is very welcome.

Thank you for your interest and support.
