Story
Everyone has a story to tell, thanks for reading mine. I'm running for three amazing women/girls, Katie, Debbie and Bea. Katie because of the woman she was, Debbie because of the woman she is and Bea because of the woman she will become.
Katie was one of my best friends and the day she died on 30 March 2018, a light went out for me and many who loved her. She was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in January 2018, she had no symptoms. I thought there would be longer to say goodbye.....Katie was an incredible woman who inspired so many people and was a wonderful Mum to Bea. "Everyone must leave behind something when they die.....something your hand touched some way so your soul has somewhere to go when you die...." Katie touched so many lives and changed them for the better while she was alive and was always thinking of others. I see her soul in the little acts of kindness, in the lives that she changed and of course in her beautiful daughter Bea. I miss her so very much every day.
Debbie is one of my craziest friends with such a huge heart and lots of love to give. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2018 and has completed chemotherapy and almost finished radiotherapy. I have been inspired by the way this wonderful woman has taken this fight on, with courage and an amazing smile in the darkest of times, Bubble you absolutely rock!! Like Katie, Debbie has such a generous soul and always puts others first. She embraces life wholeheartedly and I'm so glad she's fighting this to stick around.
Bea is a beautiful little girl who lost her Mum far too soon.....Her Mum loved her so very much and they were like two peas in a pod with their Wallace and Gromit smiles! Bea has taken much of the loss of her Mum in her stride and Katie would be so proud of her!
This is for you ladies xx
