Tragically my beloved husband, and father to our four gorgeous children,  died on Saturday 7th April from melanoma.  He was diagnosed in June 2016 and due to his characteristically positive attitude he always believed he would beat the disease, and as was typical of Gavin he continued to make the most of all the days he had.  Mercifully his death was peaceful. I'm sure you will all miss his dynamism, love of life and generous spirit.  As a family we are heartbroken by his loss but the love and support he gave his children will give them the strength they need to cope without him and in time we will all be able to cherish so many memorable moments and be grateful for the love and happiness he gave us.  We would like to thank all our family, friends and colleagues for the kindness they have shown us throughout this very difficult time.
