As well as conquering this personal challenge we also wanted the opportunity to raise money for St Luke's Hospice. We have self funded this trip so therefore all money pledged will go to St Luke's. We have chosen St. Luke’s, in order to help our local hospice be there for local people and those close to them when life comes full circle. St Luke's aim to provide the highest standards of care for people who have specialist palliative care needs and live in the Basildon & Thurrock districts.
