Aching Arms, bringing comfort after loss. We bring hope and comfort to bereaved parents' aching arms by giving a teddy bear to hold. Each bear, is given in memory of another precious baby's life lost too soon and is a gift with love from one family to another.

Story

Mckenzie is taking on the Miles in Memory challenge throughout this October!

It's widely known that Mckenzie and I endured the most terrible loss in 2011, that of Mckenzie's little brother Noah. Our story is not widely shared, it is not widely known because it's very personal to us. Suffice to say, losing him at 32 weeks gestation changed the course of our lives forever.

Noah's condition is still classed as an extremely rare one. The reported cases may be on the increase but it is still relatively unknown. Idiopathic Infantile Arterial Calcification quite honestly turned Noah's heart to stone. He fought valiantly against it but on 09.07.2011, Moo and I lost our much wanted, much loved and longed for little man. He's had a huge impact on our lives, he's forever in our hearts and thoughts.

So when she saw this event, she knew she had to do it for Noah! Give a girl a challenge they said, it'll be fun they said! So, being the amazing little madam she is she is converting the weeks at which I lost Noah into miles to be done and money she wants to raise. 32 miles for £320 (fingers crossed!)

We appreciate all donations, however big or small. Every little counts. Aching Arms are an incredible charity providing comfort through Angel named bears to bereaved parents. They have provided support to Moo and I both in our darkest, saddest of days. Just knowing that there are others who know exactly how you feel is some comfort when you feel completely alone. Just £10 means another family can receive a bear to comfort their aching arms.
