We do this by matching incredible individuals willing to donate their stem cells to people who desperately need a lifesaving transplant. We also carry out cutting edge scientific research, fund specialist post-transplant nurses and support patients and their families through the transplant process and beyond. The work of Anthony Nolan has been really highlighted to me recently as a friend's daughter, Lilya, has acute lymphoblastic leukaemia but despite searching international registers a match hasn't yet been found for Lilya.  We need as many people as possible to join a bone marrow register as the more people who are on these registers the better the chance of finding a match for Lilya #FindamatchforLilya and other people like her who need a bone marrow transplant.
