Story
After Harriet was born in 2007 I started to feel poorly, no energy, brain fog, hair loss, feeling down (the list goes on) it took 7 years of Doctor apps, many blood tests and feeling ill to be diagnosed with hypothyroidism, I’m now on medication for the condition which I have to take for life. The tablets help with the symptoms but there are many days I just don’t feel well, it’s very hard to explain to anyone how I feel especially when I ‘dont look ill’. The hardest part of this is the fatigue I suffer with, where sleeping doesn’t ease the feeling of sheer exhaustion.
Anyhow I really really want to raise awareness for thyroid disease but also other immune conditions there are so many of them. So any spare pennies you have and can donate id be really grateful
My daughters see me when I’m not well on a regular basis so I want to show my 2 girls that you can achieve things when you put your mind to it hence I thought I’d try running a half marathon 😊👍
