In October 2016 I decided to sign up for the Manchester 10k in order to raise money for Alzheimer's Society for the work they do for Alzheimer's and Dementia. This is a charity very close to my heart as I could see the effect it was having on my beautiful Grandma. It broke my heart when Grandma passed away in November 2016, so I will now be doing this in her memory. Dementia is a cruel disease and we need to raise all we can to try and get a cure for this.
