LONDON TO PARIS CYCLE RIDE……….WITHOUT LEAVING HOME !

Hi. My name is Geoff. Since 2013 I have carried out a Challenge every year to raise money for Noah's Ark Children's Hospice which supports children with life limiting and life threatening conditions.

This year, I had planned a cycling event in Cuba, but this nasty little virus turned up and has put paid to that.

Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice has been hit badly by the provisions put in place to control the spread of Covid-19, having to cancel all events and fundraising activities for the year, at a cost of about £2 million. No Cuba challenge for me then, but I decided that I would still make the effort to do my little bit to help. So, I undertook to ride the 306 miles to Paris, without actually leaving home. I did this by putting my bike on my turbo trainer, and pedalling, pedalling, pedalling untill I got there, (whilst of course remaining here). After five and a half days I reached journeys end......on the same spot where I started.
