Solving Kids’ Cancer UK helps families affected by neuroblastoma with tailored support and information, funds ground-breaking research, and campaigns for access to safer, more effective treatments.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you know, my 3 year old daughter Romilly was admitted to hospital with a childhood form of cancer called a neuroblastoma, last December. The wonderful histopathologists and doctors in California diagnosed and then removed a stage 2B, 10 cm wide tumor from her kidney. She will have monthly check ups and scans for the next 5 years so if there is any reoccurrence, we can catch it early.

Some children are not so fortunate and are not diagnosed until it is too late. They go on to have aggressive chemotherapy, bone marrow transplants and sometimes battle with this horrible cancer for years. My chosen charity raises funds to help support families and also to send some British children to the U.S where they get fantastic state of the art treatments not available to them in the UK.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
