One of the world's most iconic marathons - there's nothing quite like our incredible capital on marathon day!

Story

Georgia & Graeme are lucky enough to be colleague's of the wonderful Shivani and her stunning guide dog Sienna. We are in awe of what Shivani has achieved and how much of a difference to her life Sienna makes on a daily basis. Not only that, they have had a hugely positive impact on our team at work.

Due to this, as a team we raised over 10k for Guide Dogs last year by 14 of us completing a 100km Thames Path Challenge which allowed us to sponsor 2 of our own guide dog puppies.

This year, G&G have decided to raise the stakes and complete 2 half marathons and 2 full marathons in 3 months to raise valuable funds for this wonderful charity that changes people's lives in such a fantastic way.

This is all the more challenging us neither of us have run a marathon before!!

Together we are running:

Richmond Half Marathon (24/02/2019)
London Landmark Half Marathon (25/03/2019)
London Full Marathon (28/04/2019)
Edinburgh Full Marathon (26/05/2019).

Meet the team:

Georgia (22) the slightly more glamorous member of the team. Completed first Tough Mudder last year...just!  She is very much the driving force behind this challenge due to her love Shivani & Sienna. Training like a commando these days and has swapped her normal weekends clubbing and being young for hours & hours pounding the streets and clocking up the miles.

Graeme (not 22 - double it & add a few) - veteran of many a ToughMudder and Legend of the Gurkha Trailwalker Challenge. Still plays rugby but has broken more bones and has more pins holding him together than years on the planet. Think of a much older, heavier, arthritic Tigger and you have got the right idea.

We will give regular updates on our training plan and more importantly share loads of photos of Sienna (she is much better looking than any of us).

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
