Hey you beautiful generous people,
Shave your hair for charity
I am shaving my hair off for Cancer Hair care. Yeap that's right, and I certainly won't look stunningly Beautiful like Sinead O Conner or Gayle Porter!!
Friends of mine Pat and Leonie Moran put on an amazing charity
event every year to raise money for The Caring studio – Cancer Hair Care.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend this year’s event, in which I Usually attend.
Because it is such a worthy cause, I am going to shave my Bleached Blonde Locks off - on Thursday 13 July 2017,
Better later than never!! woo hoo
The Caring Studio
They Promote and protect the physical and mental health of people experiencing hair loss and or scalp problems, in particular those who have lost their hair though cancer treatments, by provision of support, education and practical advice. They now have Cancer hair care outlets in Barnet and Chase farm hospitals as well as Stevenage.
With the hair that has been chopped. I will donate to Little Princess Trust, as they provide real hair wigs, free of charge, to boys and
girls across the UK and Ireland that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.

I think it is a good idea to help raise awareness about how media is shaping girls and boys with their interpretation of what the perfect image should be. No matter how beautiful you are, there is guaranteed to be someone out there posting selfies that are more beautiful, and touched up by computer imagery. By me shaving my hair off this may help them realise that we don’t need makeup and beautiful hair to make you feel good about yourself, give something back and help others is a way of making you feel great! you can be comfortable in your own skin and that life is not all about vanity.
“Life is not all about vanity, give to a charity”.
