Back in 2009, my father was diagnosed with late-stage lung cancer. We had a few short months with him, mostly in the Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital, before he passed away.

It was always my intention to do something to help cancer sufferers, but life always managed to get in the way. But an opportunity to make a complete ass of myself for charity has presented itself - I'm going to DANCE FOR DONATIONS!

Who will it help? Cancer Focus runs Family Support Services to support children and young people throughout Northern Ireland whose parent has been diagnosed with cancer. It helps them understand what is happening and to deal with the fear and anxiety. The main part of the project is supporting families when a parent's prognosis is poor and time is running out.
