Story

#GetYourBellyOut is a GLOBAL campaign which is raising awareness of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, more commonly known as IBD.

To join in the campaign all you have to do is upload a picture of your belly to your chosen social media accounts using the hashtag #GetYourBellyOut! You DO NOT have to have IBD to join the campaign, just a willingness to help us raise awareness!

 #GetYourBellyOut

Provides support to people affected by IBD through Twitter and our Facebook group.

Educates others by drawing on personal experiences and sharing facts about IBD through Twitter, blogs and our Facebook page.

Inspires people to feel more confident about their body and their illness, helping them come to the realisation that they should not be ashamed of their disease.

Fundraises for Crohn’s and Colitis UK via donations from belly pictures and selling IBD awareness merchandise.

Raises awareness of IBD by putting it out there for people to see on Social Media through activities such as Twitter takeovers!

Unites the IBD community online so that no one ever need feel they are fighting their battle alone.

#ChallengeYourself2016 is a new fundraising initiative to help boost the #GetYourBellyOut fundraising total during the next year.
