Burnley FC in the Community (BFCitC) is urging business leaders from across the region to commit to sleeping out in the Turf Moor stadium for one night as part of the charitys first ever Turf Sleepout fundraising event.

Story

Taking place on Friday 12th October (my wedding anniversary!), the Turf Sleepout will ask those taking part to give up the comfort of their own bed for the night and commit to raising a minimum of £250 to be split three ways between Burnley FC in the Community (charity number: 1155856), homelessness charity Emmaus (charity number: 1064470) and SafeNet Domestic Abuse Service for Janes Place Womens Refuge (charity number: 1091544).

BFCitC deliver over 50 community projects that touch the lives of people, from preschool through to pensioners, in and around Burnley. We rely on fundraising, donations and grants to do the work we do and every penny goes towards developing new opportunities for those who need it most.
