Mum was diagnosed with AML (acute myeloid leukaemia) in July 2015 and was determined to fight the battle at every stage. During her year of treatment she received chemotherapy both as an in and out patient at UCH. At all times her level of care could not be faulted.

We have chosen to support the UCH Cancer Fund instead of receiving flowers at mums funeral as they provide additional support and services to the patients. One such service is complementary medicine - mum regularly received aromatherapy hand and feet massages and these gave her great pleasure. If we can help this service to continue it would be really worthwhile legacy.
