On 28 January 2017, my older sister Linz tragically collapsed in front of family and passed away a few hours later, following multiple failed attempts to revive her by her brother, partner and paramedics.  

She was an athletic and healthy 35-year-old.  She was funny, full of life and left a positive impression on those she met. 

Her death has subsequently been attributed to Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS).  

I’ll be running in the London Marathon on 3 October 2021 in her memory after originally getting a place in the 2019 event.  I have no excuses for not putting in the training!

My family and I would be so grateful for any donations to the British Heart Foundation, no matter how small!
