The reason I am fundraising for Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind is because my sister, Bobbie,  had an array of mental health issues which led to her taking her own life 6 years ago. Due to this I would like to help raise awareness of mental health within the young and try and prevent the cycle from continuing.

The reasoning for shaving my head is because 1) i have long hair and it would be fun to go from one extreme to the other. 2) My sister, Bobbie had a phase where she dyed her hair so much that she had to shave her head as she damaged her hair so badly. For me, this will be a memento to that moment.

The date of the headshave will commence on the 20th October and will be done by a hairdresser at my home. There will be plenty of pictures to show the before and after of the event and possibly even a video!
