Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My son Ross (14), my very good  friend Kevin McIntosh, and I, after many years of procrastinating have decided to attempt to cycle London to Paris (Unaided!!) to raise money for a good cause. This will take three days between 27 - 29th August, and we will supported by both my Father in Law and Brother in Law, Murray & Craig McArthur. (Just in case were too unfit??)

I decided the charity should be "Richmonds Hope", the organisation that supported both my children, Kirsty and Ross, to help deal with the grief they experienced when their Mum, my wife Pauline passed in 2008.

Richmonds Hope are a small Edinburgh Charity that provide support to children who have unfortunately experienced loss of a loved one. At the time both Kirsty, Ross and myself found their support extremely helpful and we like to give a little thank you back to ensure this charity continues to provide the same support to others who find themselves in the same sad situation.

Over the last two months of training, limbs have ached, pounds (lbs) have been lost, hills and potholes cursed, so please make our pain worthwhile and help us meet or even break our target.

Thank you in anticipation of your generosity.
