The Exen company supported charity for 2015 is the Jane Tomlinson Appeal, a local Yorkshire charity originally set up by the inspirational fundraiser Jane Tomlinson CBE.

Much to my surprise (and alarm) the team decided that our first fundraising event this year would be running the Leeds Half Marathon, and not wanting to let anyone down, I've signed up for my first proper run in nearly 30 years.

Nearly 4 months of training have hopefully dragged my body into some sort of shape and now I'm looking forward to the day and really keen to meet my fundraising target.
