I’ve been working on a project with Girlguiding North Yorkshire West to rebuild their residential training centre on the edge of the Dales in Harrogate. Connie, my daughter, has been a Guide and used Birk Crag many times. I’ve been doing their Trust applications and have so far raised over £200,000. Their target is £1.2m and they are now at over £800,000, so work has begun and the target is in sight!

Enabling girls and young women to develop their life skills, become confident in their abilities and to be contributing members of society is important to me.

I’d love to make a personal donation to the project for equipment to go in the new building, so rather than personal gifts, a donation to the Birk Crag Appeal would be most welcome.
