Story
My young daughter and I will both be trekking Mount Snowdon, along with approximately 50 others, for our local Mosque.
We've started building the second part of our new Mosque in Crawley and we're doing what is necessary to get the job completed as soon as possible. We're building classrooms for our little people, a kitchen for our bigger people, and multi-purpose function rooms to keep everyone tip top and healthy.
Ibn Maajah (738) narrated from Jaabir ibn ‘Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow’s nest or even smaller, Allaah will build for him a house in Paradise.”
What is meant in the hadeeth is to encourage giving even the smallest amount to build a mosque. The one who participates in or contributes to building a mosque will have a reward commensurate with his contribution.
The sadaqah jaariya (ongoing reward) gained from donating towards this beautiful project is immeasurable.
Please support us in this noble effort and remember to tick the Gift Aid option as well.
Jazakallah Khair.
