Story

A group of staff and students from Honiton Community College Sixth Form have set themselves the goal of completing the Three Peaks Challenge. They have 24 hours to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mt Snowdon, including travelling between all three.

Their aim is to raise awareness of the importance of keeping fit and active for both physical and mental well-being. The sixth form students are role models for the lower school so it is important to them that they inspire the younger students.

The students have chosen to fund raise for the Dartmoor Rescue team as the school participates in Ten Tors every year and the rescue team are always on hand. Thankfully we have not needed their assistance but it is an important service and you never know when they may need to be called upon.

Thank you for your support.
