HCPT Group 102 is part of the international children’s charity HCPT- The Pilgrimage Trust. 

The aim of the Trust is to take disadvantaged children on a week long Pilgrimage to Lourdes every Easter. Group 102 is based in the south Wales valleys and each year takes up to 10 young people from the local community.  Often this is the only opportunity they will get to have a meaningful holiday, and provide essential respite care for their parents.  The young people we take are supported by up to 15 helpers including many Sixth Form pupils from a local secondary school.  HCPT helps volunteers to be fully involved in their local community and allow disabled and disadvantaged young people to gain self-esteem and to feel part of the community in which they live.

Every year it costs £750 to take a young person to Lourdes.  In order to fund the Pilgrimage to Lourdes we must raise at least £10,000 per year.
